When I think of galactic exploration, the country of Djibouti does not quickly come to mind.
But as per a compelling article published today, the tiny African nation (about as big as New Jersey) has built a fiercely expanding space program within the last three years.
Djibouti just launched the first of two observational nano-satellites to collect climatological data. This year, plans and partnerships for building an international commercial spaceport began coalescing as well.
